As the doors open to start this new day,
We bow our heads to you and pray.
We know we need to study and learn from you,
The more we learn the more we will know what to do.
Many trials and tribulations in the world these days,
Thank you for covering us like a doughnut of glaze.
With you the sunshiny days out number the rain,
You walking with us keeps us from going insane.
We are young in wisdom, just new at turning to you,
So we still stumble in many things we do.
Just as we get down,and about to give up,
You jump start out hearts, and minds and over fill our cup.
We really don't know how we made it through all the years before we let you in,
Life was so misunderstood, as we lived in sin.

HONEY I KNOW THINGS HAVE BEEN FULL OF HARD STRUGGLES FOR A WHILE,
I ALSO KNOW I MAY DIFFER WITH YOU SOMEDAYS ON YOUR DEALING TYPE OF STYLE.
I WANT YOU TO KNOW THROUGH GOOD OR BAD, HAPPY OR SAD, I AM SO PROUD OF THE MAN I HAVE,

8/6/2009 About To lose My Mind
Lord we are about to lose our minds,
But we are still turning to you for the answer to find.
You say you will not give us more then we can handle,
But we are about to go into a melt down, like a candle.
I truly think there is much more we can stand,
So please send down some grace from those heavenly hands.
Lord we once had been truly blessed in Your Grace,
Then into drugs we came face to face.
We lost everything,but our home and that's OK,
For we turned to you and the wisdom in all you say.
We have with your help fought back,
And are desperately trying to stay on track.
We have looked for jobs with none to be found,
And struggled for months now to get on solid ground.
We felt you have sent us about ten good buiness idea's you have placed before us,
But do not have the things we need to move forward full thrust.
You have given us these idea's,but yet the doors have not opened,
So we keep working the best we can, pushing forward and hoping.
Lord we truly need to see your Loving Grace,
For we are about to lose our lights and our place.
Lord we turn to you to give us some kind of sign,
Because we truly do not know what to do, we are walking blind.
Lord we trust in you we truly do,
So we are asking for your Grace, please show us what to do.

The sky is dark,and the wind does blow,
The horizon has a misty glow.
An earie feeling wells up deep within,
As we waite for the storm to begin.
The animals stir with fright,
So wonder how bad the storm will get tonight.
The wind picks up, and the rain comes hard,
We stand at the window and stand guard.
The trees now bending too and throw,
You can see debris a float among the water flow.
The howl of the wind is ferocious and long,
The thunder is pounding out it's song.
As the rain lets up, and the sun shines bright,
At the storms end,in it's place a rainbow in our sight.

8/5/2009 Fresh in our minds
Lord always keep fresh in our minds to keep you first in our lives and all we do,
To remember each day is the beggining of things a new.
We need to always keep in mind each day you walk with us,
Please make our hearts strong in the fact in you we can always trust.
We get scared and weak,
But each day we turn to you and your strength and wisdom seek.

And understanding for others you find.
We are glade at young years the right way you live your lives,
That,that took us fifty years to strive.
Good examples for your children you have in place,
And with thought and wisdom your problems you face.

8/3/2009 SORRY FOR MY WRONGS
I AM SORRY FOR ALL MY WRONGS,
AND I AM TRULY TRYING TO BE STRONG.
i FEEL THE WEAKNESS,AND DESPARE,
AND THE FEELING WONDERING EVEN WHY TO CARE.
I FELL THE DARKNESS ALL OVER ME LIKE A BLANKET OF DEATH,
MAKING IT HARD TO MOVE FORWARD WITH EVERY BREATH.
THE HARDER I TRY TO KEEP IT TOGETHER,
THE MORE GOES WRONG AND I FEEL WEAK AS A FEATHER.
EVERYONE AROUND THINKS I CAN BOUNCE BACK FROM WHAT EVER GETS THREW MY WAY,
AS I GET WEAKER,AND WEAKER WITH EACH NEW HIT,
IF NOTHING ELSE GET ME MAD ENOUGH TO THROW A FIT.
I JUST NEED A BREAK A SMALL AREA OF RIGHT,
TO GIVE ME FOOTING TO CONTINUE THE FIGHT.
I KNOW I HAVE DONE WRONG,AND I AM NOT PERFECT NOR WILL NEVER BE,
BUT I THOUGHT,I HAVE TRIED TO DO AND BE FOR OTHERS ALSO YOU SEE.
I HAVE TRIED,AND TRIED TO PULL THINGS TOGETHER TO GET FOOTING TO MAKE LIFE RIGHT,
MY BIGGST DREAM IS TO HELP OTHERS THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE, SO NOT TO FEEL AS BLUE AS I DO,
BUT FIRST I NEED TI FIND THE OTHER SIDE MYSELF AND NOT FEEL BLUE.
IF THERE IS NO WAY OUT JUST TAKE ME IN MY SLEEP,
FOR I AM DROWNDING IN THIS DEPRESSION DEEP.
I KNOW WE BROUGHT ALOT OF OUR PROBLEMS ON OURSELVES,THIS IS TRUE,
BUT WE HAVE MADE A GOOD FIGHT TO COME BACK TOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
